Software Development

Custom Software Development, from MVP to Production

We design and build web applications, backends and mobile apps for startups and growing businesses. Senior engineers own your project from the first architecture decision to the production release, so you get software that stays easy to change long after launch.

What we build

The projects we take on most often

  1. 01

    Web applications & SaaS

Customer-facing products, internal tools and multi-tenant SaaS platforms built with React, Vue or Next.js on a typed, tested codebase.

  2. 02

    APIs & backend systems

REST and GraphQL APIs, background jobs and integrations with payment, CRM and third-party services, built on Node.js, Python or Ruby on Rails.

  3. 03

    Mobile apps

Cross-platform iOS and Android apps with React Native, sharing logic with your web product where it makes sense.

  4. 04

    Dashboards & internal tools

Admin panels, reporting dashboards and back-office tools that replace spreadsheets and manual workflows.

  5. 05

    MVPs for founders

A focused first version that tests your idea with real users, scoped to launch in weeks rather than months.

  6. 06

    Modernization & rescue

Taking over existing codebases: fixing performance and stability issues, upgrading frameworks and adding tests so new features stop breaking old ones.

How an engagement runs

From first call to production, without surprises

  1. Day 0

    Discovery call

Goals, users, constraints and what done looks like. Free, 30 to 45 minutes.

  2. Week 1

    Proposal

Written scope, milestones, timeline and a fixed price or monthly rate. You decide.

  3. Weeks 2+

    Build in sprints

Working software every one to two weeks on a staging URL. Weekly sync, direct Slack access.

  4. Launch

    Ship to your cloud

CI/CD into your own AWS, GCP or Azure account, with monitoring and a runbook.

  5. After

    Support window

Fixes included after launch. Then hand over with docs, or keep us on.

What you get

Built to be owned, not rented

Everything we build is yours to run without us. Every engagement includes:

  • Source code in your own repository from the first commit
  • Automated tests on the critical paths
  • CI/CD pipeline and deployment to your cloud account
  • Technical documentation and setup guides
  • A handover session, or ongoing support if you need it
Stack we recommend

Boring where it should be, modern where it matters

You needWe usually pickWhy
Web frontendReact or Next.js with TypeScriptLargest hiring pool, best tooling, server rendering when SEO matters.
Backend APINode.js (TypeScript) or Python (Django, FastAPI)Both mature and easy to staff. Python when data or AI work is in scope.
MobileReact Native with ExpoOne codebase for iOS and Android, shared logic with your web app.
DatabasePostgreSQLHandles relational data, JSON, search and vectors. One system fewer to run.
PaymentsStripe (and Stripe Connect for marketplaces)We've built subscriptions, deposits, split payouts and refunds on it repeatedly.

FAQ

Software Development questions, answered

How long does it take to build an MVP?

A typical MVP takes 4 to 12 weeks, depending on how many core features and integrations it needs. You get a fixed timeline in the proposal, before any work starts.

Who owns the code?

You do. The code lives in your repository from the first commit and full intellectual property transfers to you. We're happy to sign an NDA before you share project details.

Can you work on our existing codebase?

Yes. We start with a short code review to understand the architecture and the risks, then work within your conventions and suggest improvements where they clearly pay off.

Which tech stack will you use?

Whatever fits your product and team. If you already have a stack, we work in it. For new products we usually recommend TypeScript with React or Next.js, and Node.js or Python on the backend, because they're well supported and easy to hire for.

Have a project in mind?

Tell us what you're building. You'll get a straight answer on scope, timeline and cost, usually within one business day.
